Many of us travel with our taste buds in front of our feet. One of the most popular reasons to see the world for many is the tastes and cuisines of the different regions you discover. Mexico in general, and San Miguel specifically, offer some of the best food and broadest culinary offerings of anywhere you can travel. With restaurants offering traditional menus and fusions of European, American and cultural specialties like Mole, San Miguel establishments offer something for even the most discerning pallet.

Whether it´s a chopped beef sandwich from the Longhorn, the best torta in town from Torta Mundo, or Azteca Soup at the Café de la Parroquia, foods exist here to keep even the most experienced Gastrotraveler content and happy. Late last year BajioGO marked the beginning of our Getaway Program with an overnight trip to Mexico City and Cirque del Soleil. Having heard the words FUN and MORE after that first tour, we have begun to plan for short monthly tours to areas within four hours of San Miguel. So far this year we have traveled again to Mexico City for our first Flea Market trip (a great success!!!) With an upcoming Tolantongo trip we will be offering new and exciting getaways for the rest of the year. Our full 2012 getaway schedule will be on the site soon. As you read this Luis and John are in Puerto Vallarta at the Tianguis Touristico show.
